for Admission to Government and Politics are the Same for Internal
or External Transfer Admits:

Internal transfers are students already at the University
of
Maryland
trying to change majors to a LEP.

External transfers (community college students) are students applying to the
University
of
Maryland
who would like to major in an LEP.

The admissions requirements for LEP's for Internal and External Transfers are
the same.

External transfer students apply to LEP's
by submitting the General Application for Admission to the
University
of
Maryland
by indicating the major(s) of interest - there is not a separate LEP
application form.
