HONORS PROGRAM SCHOLARSHIPS (Collegewide)

The Honors Program awards scholarships annually for the spring semester. Each scholarship covers tuition costs equivalent to 3 credits at the in-County rate, and will be applied directly to the student's tuition account towards an Honors class.

Eligibility:

• 12 academic credits completed at Montgomery College
• 3.2 or higher GPA
• B or A in EN 101 or EN 101A
• Not already receiving a Foundation scholarship (including Board of Trustees Scholars, Montgomery Scholars, Macklin Scholars, and Renaissance Scholars).

Condition of the Scholarship:

Recipients must enroll in and complete at least 6 credits in the spring term, including at least one honors course.

Application deadline is December 10, 2012.

EVELYN V. BYERS HONORS SCHOLARSHIP (Rockville)

This scholarship is specified for a non-traditional age female student at the Rockville Campus. The scholarship will be awarded in the spring semester and will be applied directly to the recipient's tuition account.

Eligibility:

• Non-traditional age female student on the Rockville Campus
• Must meet Honors Program requirements (3.2 or higher GPA, 12 academic credits at MC and B or A in EN 101 or EN 101A).
  

Condition of the scholarship:

Recipients must enroll in and complete at least 6 credits in the spring term, including at least one honors course.

Application deadline is December 10, 2012.
