Alumni Association Scholarship
2006-2007
(Due June 30, 2006)

MC Alumni Association offers two annual scholarships for the sons and daughters or mothers and fathers of alumni ($2,000 each for 1 year - application deadline is June 30.)

To qualify for the Alumni Association Scholarship you must:

  • Be the son, daughter, mother or father of an MC alumnus/a (graduate or 50 credit hours)
  • High School graduate or current MC student with a 2.5 grade point average.
  • Full-time student with 12 credit hours or more enrolled for Fall '06.
  • Financial need may be taken into consideration.
  • An official or unofficial high school transcript, grade report, or MC transcript must be submitted with the application.

To qualify for the Socrates & Anne Koutsoutis Statue of Liberty Endowed
Scholarship you must:

  • Be a first semester/year student at MC.
  • Must submit brief (one page) essay on subject "What Freedom Means to Me." (dictionary definitions will not be considered.)
  • High School graduate with a 2.5 grade point average.
  • Full-time student with 12 credit hours or more enrolled for Fall '06.
  • Financial need may be taken into consideration.
  • An official or unofficial high school transcript, grade report, or MC transcript must be submitted with the application.

1. Willingness to attend an Alumni Association meeting.
2. Join the Montgomery College Alumni Association upon completion of studies.
3. Willingness to attend the Scholarship brunch.
4. A letter of appreciation sent to the Alumni Association and a copy delivered to
the Financial Aid Office.
