The Montgomery College Alumni Association will be hosting a special dinner-theatre event on the Rockville Campus to honor former U.S. Congresswoman and MC Professor Connie Morella.  Join us on Sunday, July 20 for a special performance of Hello, Dolly!  Meal service begins at 1 p.m. and the show begins at 3 p.m.  Tickets are only $35/person ($28 for children 12 and under), and all proceeds from the event will be used to endow a scholarship in Connie Morella's name.  For more information or to make reservations, or to make a contribution to the endowment if you can't attend the show, call the Alumni Office at 240-567-5378 or e-mail to alumni@mc.cc.md.us. For more information on the event, click here: http://www.montgomerycollege.edu/alumni/helloconnie.html.

The MC Alumni Association has scholarships available for students attending MC on a full-time basis.  The applicant must be a son, daughter, mother, or father of an MC alum to qualify for the scholarship. Do you know of an MC alum who has distinguished himself or herself?  If so, nominate that person for the 2003 Milton F. Did you know that MC students who transferred to a four-year institution before completing their graduation requirements may still earn their associate's degree from the College?  Under a program to encourage transfer students to complete their associate's degrees, alumni of the College can transfer back to the College as many as 15 credit hours for courses they took at a four-year institution.  Interested alumni may contact Ms. Getzandanner at the Germantown Campus, 240-567-7822; Ms. Chen at the Rockville Campus, 240-567-5042; or Ms. Williams at the Takoma Park Campus, 240-567-1501. For information on obtaining your MC transcript, go to http://www.mc.cc.md.us/admissions/transcripts.html.

The Maryland Humanities Council will present its annual Chautauqua at the Germantown Campus of MC July 8 – 11.  The program will feature interactive, living portrayals of Susan B. Anthony, Frederick Douglass, Thomas Paine, and Franklin Delano Roosevelt.  All performances are free and open to the public.  For more information, click here: http://www.mdhc.org/chautauqua/montgomery.html.

Montgomery College has a new web portal called My MC available for all current and former students, faculty, and staff.  Through My MC, you can check your personal records, catch up on events going on around the College, and even register for classes. 
 
Here's how:
Just go to  http://mymc.montgomerycollege.edu and login on the left side of the page.  
 
To login to My MC you will need to know two things: 
          1. Your My MC ID and
          2. Your PIN number. Your PIN is a 6-digit number or your date of birth (in MMDDYY format) if never before changed 
              through the Montgomery College Secure Site Login.

Finding your My MC ID

Follow these directions for getting your My MC ID:
 
        1. Back at the login page, click on the Find Your My MC ID link. A small window will appear.
        2. Enter your Student ID, which is your Social Security No. (or MC-issued student ID) in the first box.
        3. Enter your 6-digit PIN. Again, your PIN is a 6-digit number or your Date of Birth (in MMDDYY format) if never before 
            changed through the Montgomery College Secure Site Login.
        4. Click on the Get My MC ID button; a window will open displaying your My MC ID
       
Logging In
Once you have your My MC ID and PIN number, return to My MC login page at http://mymc.montgomerycollege.edu. Please keep this information for future reference. If you need further assistance, please call the MC Response Center at (240) 567-5000, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday - Friday.
 
Once you're into the system, take a look at your information for accuracy and any other data that you care to share with usLet us know how you like the system by e-mailing us at alumni@mc.cc.md.us.
 
Please note: My MC is only available to current and former students, faculty, and staff of the College.
