URGENT! URGENT! URGENT!
Did you know that Maryland's
community colleges are expected to be the fastest-growing segment of higher
education, and that community colleges in some regions are bracing for a
50 percent increase in enrollment in the next decade?
Yet state
support for higher education continues to significantly decline.
What can this mean to the future of
Montgomery College?
- Increased tuition and fees
- Inability to hire sufficient faculty and
staff needed in a growing institution
- Inadequate space and course availability to
meet a booming student population
- Students having to go outside of the state
to receive a college education
The current economic climate brings the impact
of charitable giving to an urgent level for colleges
and universities. We ask that all Montgomery College alumni show
their support by making a gift of any size to the annual fund today. We are
counting on your help!
Make your tax-deductible* donation to
the Annual Fund today at:
Good deed for the day!!
Please forward this email to anyone who you think may be interested in
supporting Montgomery
College. Thank you for your help!
