Now, you or your friends can visit www.montgomerycollege.edu/giving and in a matter of minutes make a gift to Montgomery College.

You CAN make a difference in the lives of Montgomery College students.  We ask that you consider a gift to help further their education. Each year Montgomery College provides scholarships for over 600 students.  There remain, though, 3,000 students who could not enroll for financial reasons. Please help us bridge this gap and fulfill our student's dreams and goals with a gift to scholarships.

For more information, please contact Valessia Samaras, 240-567-7493, or e-mail valessia.samaras@montgomerycollege.edu or mail your payment to the Montgomery College Foundation, 900 Hungerford Drive, Suite 200, Rockville, MD 20850. Please write "e-news" on the memo line of your check.

To commemorate the Kendalls’ generosity and volunteer service, USG recently named their new third building the Camille Kendall Academic Center.

Other scholarship programs are available to MC students through the Montgomery College Foundation. Your contributions can help support these students as they work to complete their educational programs. Please consider making a contribution to the Montgomery College Foundation for student scholarships, 900 Hungerford Drive, Suite 200, Rockville MD 20850. Mentoring Opportunities: Takoma Park/Silver Spring Student Development seeks both international and American alumni to participate as mentors in the International Buddy Program. The program provides a working relationship between current international students and past students who have either graduated or transferred from Montgomery College. Adjustment to a new community may be difficult, especially if there is a difference in language and culture. The International Buddy Program can help ease the transitional phase and help students adjust to the social, academic and cultural environment at Montgomery College. The primary mode of communication will be e-mail, unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties. All who are interested in serving as mentors must be alumni of Montgomery College. For more information or to volunteer, contact Dr. Harold Barber or Eniola Olowofoyeku at 240-567-1480, or e-mail harold.barber@montgomerycollege.edu or eniola.olowofoyeku.@montgomerycollege.edu. If you have a country or major of study mentor/mentee preference, please indicate that in your e‑mail.
