My name is Charles Gamboa, I am 19 years old and a Wheaton High School alumni class of 2001. I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in the Biological Sciences and have aspirations of becoming an Optometrist. I was born in Washington D.C., but my parents are natives of Peru and Chile. One of the best decisions I made before entering the college life was becoming part of the Biomedical Scholars Program. Not only did I make genuine friends with similar interests, but the camaraderie between us helped in passing courses successfully. In addition, the emotional and educational support of the program coordinators, Dr. Weiner and Dr. Hoberman, have helped me enjoy my college experience at Montgomery College.
