My name is Lan Chau. I came from Vietnam and have been in the United States for five years. I went to Sherwood High School. This is my second year at Montgomery College. The most wonderful thing I've done after attending this college was to join the Bio-Medical Scholar Program. This program provides me with a lot of help and attention from Dr. Weiner (from the Math department), Dr. Hoberman and my mentor, Prof. Baack (from the Biology department), and Prof Howard (from the English department). Most importantly, the program also gave me an opportunity to work as a summer intern at a laboratory of UMCP, where I've learn a lot of great things about biology. I have a great interest in science, and I'm planning to transfer to Howard University to study my Dental Hygiene Program.
