My name is Tahrra Elke U. Bonaga and I came from the Philippines when I was 10 years old. Ever since I was a child I have always loved science and it was a sign that led me to pursue my major in Medical Technology. I graduated from Richard Montgomery High School of 2003. I am currently attending Montgomery College and I plan to stay for 2 years. In the near future, I plan to transfer out of here into a four-year college and I am taking into account University of Maryland, Baltimore County and Georgetown University.

With me being part of the 3rd year of the Biomedical Scholar Program, it has been an overwhelming feeling and excitement. This program has a lot of benefits and it is the best for a lot of things. I met a lot of wonderful people with which each member has a unique characteristics. In addition, I have learned a lot from the other members. Not only that, the support the program has provided guided me in adjusting to college and has provided me a great perspective in my career. Ultimately college has given me a new perspective in life.
