Hello, welcome! My name is Bezawit. I was born in Ethiopia, East Africa. I came to the United States when I was 12 years old, so I have been here for almost 6 years. Throughout my middle and high school years, I learned the meaning of hard work, discipline and dedication. Now, six years latter, I am attending Montgomery College, at Rockville Campus under the Biomedical Scholars Program. I enjoy math and science courses, so it is a blessing that I got accepted in this program. Even though I am not really sure what my major is going to be, I have a good place to start. Funny, but that sounds too much like the quote I got in the fortune cookie, the first step to making your dream come true is to wake up. I guess I should let you all know that one of my habits is collecting ‘Interesting’ quotes. Anyway, it has been a very nice summer vacation. I have been taking some courses, one of which was web training. In this class our fabulous teachers, Professor Martinez and Professor Hill, both taught us how to make a website. For which I am greatly thankful. I would also like to thank the Gregory Family, Dr. Weiner, Dr. Hoberman, and Prof. Mintz for their willingness and never-ending support. I promise to do my best to make both our professors and the Biomedical Scholars Program to be as proud as I am. Hope U enjoy my site and I’ll leave you with some of my favorite quotes “An eye for an eye will leave every one blind” “There is nothing unequal as the equality of unequal” “Why study? to learn more, the more you learn the more you forget the more you forget the less you know, so why study?” “I am not insensitive, I just don’t care” “Why be difficult, when you can be impossible” |
