As an aspiring biologist, I am moving towards attaining my Bachelors degree in biology. At Montgomery College I hope to take the first steps toward attaining my Bachelors in biology while following a pre-medical track. Such pursuits have led me to join the Biomedical Scholars Program where I am among fellow aspiring biologists who are also working towards their careers in the medical field. I have to say that we are all an ambitious group of young individuals! Being a participant in the Biomedical Scholars Program sets me on the right path towards furthering my educational and career pursuits. With the support of the program chairs, Drs. Weiner and Hoberman, along with my self-determination and hard work, I feel that I will be able to accomplish my goals. |
Hello viewer. My name is Danielle.I am coming from a private high-school in Rockville, Maryland where I was on the Dean’s list throughout the four years. I have a genuine love of learning, and I always strive for excellence. In particular, I consider myself a biology enthusiast and have availed myself of opportunities to enjoy science outside of the classroom. For example, this past year I had the privilege of presenting a research project at a science exhibition held during a national conference sponsored by the Science and Engineering Alliance (SEA).        |
