CA274 E-Commerce Web Sites: Administration, Security and Marketing
Course Description
A study of electronic commerce revenue models and business strategies, involving the various network-based transactions among producers, consumers, businesses and institutions. Topics include: legal, business and marketing strategies, online revenue models, web site administration, the history and challenges of e-commerce, organizational design and infrastructure, an overview of sever hardware and software, security concerns, and the risks and benefits of e-commerce. Emphasis will be on practical applications and contemporary issues. (3 semester hours)

Prerequisites/Corequisites
Prequisites: None, however CA272 is strongly recommended.

- Understand and discuss the unique nature of marketing and e-business, including affiliate programs, e-customer relationships, and e-mail promotion
Legal and Ethical Issues
