The MC/NOAA Team

September 2007

In September (before we started development), we took a field trip to a local estuary to get a sense of the animal life and habitat. This was a fun trip with beautiful scenery. We were expertly guided by Jug Bay staff who helped us understand how pollution and runoff affects the delicate balance in the estuary.

For many of us, this was our first trip to an estuary. When you play the game, you can see the impact these visuals had on our game environment and artwork.

A big THANK YOU to NOAA's Ocean Service Education Department (especially Peg, Marina & Bruce) and the Jug Bay estuary staff for arranging this trip for us!
