Montgomery College converted to a new College ID Number in early April 2007. Here's what you NEED to know:

• The College assigned you a new number to replace your Social Security Number (SSN) or existing Banner Generated ID Number as your College ID Number;


• The new College ID Number and the MyMC ID are the primary ways you are identified at the College;
  
• Students need the new College ID Card for library, bookstore, technology lab, and Ride-On bus services;
  
• Employees need the new College ID Card for library services;
  
• Your SSN may still be collected to be used where mandated by law;
  
• The College is issuing new College ID Cards to Spring Semester 2007 students;
  
• HR is issuing new ID cards to employees;
  
• Banner forms did not change;
  
• MyMC access did not change;
  
• Paper forms, reports, and local computer files must be modified to reference the College ID Number where applicable.
