step 1From the Tools menu, click Internet Options.

From the Prefrences window expand Advanced.

Select Scripts &Plug-ins.

In the Enable JavaScript for window, check the Navigator box..

ClickOK.

Relaunch your browser.

When you first start your browser, the startup screen should display the brand and version of your browser; however, it may go off the screen too quickly. Here is a better way - after the browser is loaded simply select
"Help | About..." from the main menu. The menu option may read "Help | About Internet Explorer", "Help | About Navigator..." or "Help | About Netscape." Click that link and read all about your browser. (back to the top)
