reminders about how to locate resources, articles and web sites that
you will need for this class.
If you need a quick refresher on finding materials using the
electronic resources available through our library, don't forget
about the tutorials.

A few reminders:
To find a book a certain topic, you will need to set "Select Search Type:"
to Keyword Boolean.
Remember that your search expression will consist of keywords (tend to be nouns),
the Boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT), and punctuation (parenthesis used with OR, quotations marks for
phrases, question mark for truncation):
- Cameroon AND history
- Korea AND economic?
- Iran AND culture
- China AND travel

World Factbook
- The World Factbook is a great resource. It provide information on each country including,
geography, population, government, maps, etc.
- Country Studies and Area Handbooks
- "Country Studies Series presents a description and analysis of the historical setting and the social, economic, political, and national security systems and institutions of countries throughout the world. The Series examines the interrelationships of those systems and the ways they are shaped by cultural factors."
