General Information
Because this is an online course, you
are expected to teach yourself. You must take the responsibility of covering
the material on your own. The following schedule is an outline of the
material that you are expected to cover on a weekly basis. You are to use
PowerPoint notes, online materials, Adam Interactive Anatomy (AIA), Adam
Interactive Physiology (AIP), laboratory manual, supplemental materials and
your text to learn the course materials. Notes and online materials are
available on the WebCT website for this course. AIA
& AIP materials are available in the Math Science Center in Science North 101 (Takoma
Park Campus). The course schedule lists the chapters that must be covered on
a weekly basis.
Lecture Examinations
All lecture examinations must be taken
in the Assessment Center on the Takoma Park Campus (phone
#240-567-1555). The examinations will be available only during the
specified times. The Assessment
Center hours are Monday – Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You are allowed two hours within which to
complete an exam. You will need a #2 pencil to complete your exam. You will
also need to call the Center to schedule your
exam time. Be sure to schedule your start time at least three hours before
closing time.
