Building Accessible Web Sites
Under "Section 508" of the Federal Rules

to our course on building accessible web sites for those with disabilities under Federal "Section 508" rules and recent Maryland state laws for non visual access to state agency, university, and community college web sites. The course is offered by the TechLEAP/WebLEAP and Continuing Education programs of Montgomery College's Information Technology Institute.

This course covers the Federal 508 rules in depth, and builds a model web site using the federal standards. The course is useful for those designing or editing federal government or Maryland state agency web sites, Montgomery College web sites, and corporate or educational institutions which desire to improve site accessiblity.
