Document Headers
All pieces of paper need to be identified -- they need labels. Place a "header" in all your homework for this course as follows;
- In Word, go to View>Headers and Footers.
- The header will then appear in your document, and your cursor will appear on the top left.
- Move the cursor postion to right alignment by clicking on the "right align" button.
- Type the following information in the header:
- Your name;
- The Title of the course, i.e., "CA 172 Germantown, T-Th;"
- The Professor's Name;
- Identify the Homework Assignment, i.e. "Assign. 1 - ISP;"
- The Due Date;
- The date you submit the assignment;
- The page number (Note: there's an page # button on the Header/Footer Toolbar
- Close the toolbar.

Your Internet Service Provider (ISP) At Home
Answer the following questions for your home ISP service. If you don't have
Internet service at home, but access the internet from work or from the computer
labs at the college, then answer these questions concerning your access to the
Internet. You may have to talk with the college's lab help desk or your business
IT support personnel.
- What company provides you with ISP service?
- What is the cost of ISP service per month?
- If the service is free, what is the trade-off?
- Is it worth paying for the service?
- Speed of Internet service delivery.Which of the following do you use for delivery of internet service at home?
- 28.8 Kbps modem (Ha! This is so outdated it's not even funny. Computers
are no longer sold with 28 Kbps modems. These slow modems, of almost no
use on the Internet, were phased out starting in around 1998);
