Class 1 - Review, CSS, Tables, Web4Students-

              Tutorial 3 - pp. 120-157, Tutorial 4, pp. 167 - 237.

Class 2 - Layers - Tutorial 6 - pp. 315 - 363

Class 3 - Templates, Headers, Libraries- Tutorial 9, pp. 469 - 501

Class 4 - Forms - Tutorial 9, pp. 501 - 521.

Class 5 - Multimedia, Tutorial 8, pp. 419 - 462

            - Lab Assignment: Prepare and upload to your web4students Dreamweaver Advanced a web site which includes the following:

  • A Home page and at least three other pages based on a template;
  • An external cascading style sheet which controls all styles and text formatting for the web site
    • The home page/template should include:
      • A Banner
      • A Horizontal NavBar with at least four roll-over buttons;
      • All links on the roll-over buttons should work;
      • A vertical navigation bar - either left or right side of site;
      • A Main Text area with a different graphic on each page, wrapped by text;
      • Contact information with an email address link.
      • A "library item" copyright statement:  See pp. 482-488.
  • A page containing a data table of at least five rows and four columns;
  • A page based on layers
    • Show-hide features are a bonus, not required.
  • A form ( think Pizza!) with:
    • Text fields;
    • Radio Group;
    • Checkboxes;
    • Menu or list;
    • Dreamweaver forms validation;
    • A form test action - See Hart, Geller textbook, page 508.

All pages should be linked into your home page.  Some or all of these pages may be pages we have built in class, using graphics we have used or built in class. 

You are encouraged and licensed to use the graphics linked to the common graphics page for the limited purpose of building class-based web sites loaded to your web4students class site.
