Continuing Education

These are Open Admissions, Noncredit Courses. There are no application or admissions requirements for these courses, however some courses require prerequisite skills or training, so please check the course descriptions. Courses are open to the general public. Not all classes are offered every semester, check our Course Objectives page for a complete listing of our courses as well as course descriptions. Many of our courses are just two weeks in length. No report cards are issued, but a Certificate of Completion will be issued to students who attend at least 80% of the course.

Oracle Information Session Friday, July 10, 2009 from 3:00pm - 5:00pm at our Gaithersburg Business Training Center. *Map A representative from Oracle will hold an information session to talk about Oracle training and certification, and job possibilities for those with Oracle training.

Information Technology Computer Courses

The Information Technology Institute's Continuing Education Division offers non-credit computer courses designed to meet the needs of the adult community. These courses typically are short in duration, affordable, timely and convenient. The courses are designed to introduce you to new subjects or enhance your knowledge in a particular computer technology specialty -- computer basics, MS Office Suite, web design, programming, database, and other areas.

Courses may be offered at one or more of Montgomery College's five locations - Rockville, Germantown, or Takoma Park Campuses; Gaithersburg Business Training Center; or Westfield's South in Wheaton, MD. See our Locations page for directions.
