Computer Aided Design (CAD) III, CMP# tba
Description:This course is intended to provide the students with an understanding of the commands and controls needed to produce 3-dimensional drawings. This is an advanced level course which follows Computer-Aided Design I & II. The students will study 3-D coordinates and the commands used to create and modify simple 3-D objects. The students will also develop the ability to control the tools used to view 3-D drawings. This course will be used to prepare students to create rendered drawings which will be taught in the next level course --computer Aided Design IV.
Prerequisites:
Assumption that the student has experience equivalent to completing the
AutoCAD II course.

Course Content:
Upon completion of this course students will be able to:
- Use commands and controls needed to produce 3-dimensional drawings.
- Apply learned commands to develop camera views, add backgrounds, change perspectives, spin objects in an orbit and create walk-through movies.
- Create and modify 3-D surfaces and 3-D solid models
