InDesign, CMP865
InDesign CS3 is for beginning users. The students will learn basics on how to: layout creative documents; set preferences; place, flow, and edit text from Word documents; place and manipulate graphics; use master pages and styles to manage typesetting; print and export files to PDF.
Prerequisites: Computer Basics (CMP072), Working with Windows XP and MS Word or equivalent experience with Windows OS folder navigation capability or equivalency via Mac and working knowledge of MS Word.
Classroom Hours: 15
Textbook: Purchase at Rockville Campus Book Store and bring to first class along with a USB memory stick Flash Drive/memory stick (at least 512 MB).
