Adobe Premiere Pro Video Editing, Level I, ITI002

Adobe Premiere Pro is an essential tool in the Adobe integrated suite for editing digital videos for web, television production, and education, commercial and corporate use. This course introduces Premier Pro's digital editing environment, features, procedures, and equipment used to do nonlinear editing, both simple and complex. Learn to capture, import, and manage media files, create cuts-only video sequences, add titles, and output video sequences as files suitable for DVD, Web streaming, or mass e-mails.

Textbook: Purchase at Rockville Campus Book Store and bring to first class along with a USB memory stick Flash Drive/memory stick (at least 512 MB).

Prerequisites: Working knowledge of MS Office tools, the Internet and e-mail. Brief exposure to working in a Mac OSX environment is encouraged. A computer skills test will be administered in the first class to ensure successful progress in the course.
