MS Word Tips and Tricks, ITI-073

This course will offer tips and tricks to improve the way in which administrative professionals use MS Word 2007 to simplify working with some advanced Word features. The course will explore quick ways to format and position Word tables by using advanced table properties and how to access the table tool feature to apply statistical formulas in Word tables. Learn how to quickly record, track, accept or reject suggested revisions to documents sent to other Word users for review and comment. Also, the tips and tricks will be shown to master the use and application of section break features to use and apply different page layouts such as margins, page orientation, header and footers, columns and page numbers in preparing newsletters and other multiple-column documents.

Prerequisites: MS Word Level I & II or intermediate MS Word level skills.

Textbooks: No textbook required. Please bring a USB memory stick at least 512MB to class so you may save your work.
