Windows PowerShell is Microsoft's administrative automation platform. Learn how to use PowerShell's command line for individual constructs. Program in PowerShell's Integrated
Scripting Environment (ISE) to automate more complex tasks. Learn how to use Cmdlets, Objects, Pipeline, Discovery, scripting tools and commands, and batch file conversion. Other topics include Windows and MS Office desktop management; basic and advanced Windows server management. Server Applications Management such as IIS and SharePoint; and Virtualization and Cloud Computing management.
Prerequisites: MCITP and Programming Fundamentals or equivalent systems and programming experience. Windows Server 2008 recommended, but not required.
Textbooks:You must purchase textbook(s)/materials and bring to the first class. Books may be purchased at the MC Bookstore or online. You will need to know the ITI #(course number) and CRN# (section number) for the class you are taking in order to look up information about the textbook.
