Microsoft SQL Server for Developers I, CMP985
MS SQL Server 2008, Microsoft's database server is in widespread use by companies to develop and manage large enterprise databases. Learn how MS SQL Server uses and handles Structured Query Language (SQL), and how the Management Studio is integrated with Visual Studio.NET 2010. Learn how to manage relational databases using MS SQL Server 2008 Management Studio; use SQL queries and sub-queries to insert, update and delete data; and work with data types and functions. Database design and implementation using Management Studio will also be covered. This course supplements the Information Technology Institute's .NET course sequences, or can be taken independently.
Prerequisites:
Proficiency with Windows is required; MS Access Level I and knowledge of Access relational databases, or equivalent experience is strongly recommended.

Course Objectives:
