Are you interested in creating personal or business Web sites on your own without having to spend a lot of money for software or professional help? In this real-time online basic ingroductory course you will learn how to desing Web pages using HTML and free Web authoring tools. Topics will include every phase of the Web desing process - planning, designing, and implementating. You will also learn about choosing the right Internet Service Proficer (ISP), creating Web accouts, and uploading Web pages using ftp. The first hour of this class is dedicated to the orientation to the Elluminate online course delivery software. After registering you must contact Mary Ann Behme at 240-567-5510 at least 3 days prior to class to obtain Elluminate set-up information.
Prerequisites: Computer Basics, Working with Windows or Vista file management or equivalent experience. Designing and Planning YOur Web Site for Personal and Business Use is strongly recommended.
Technology update: Please bring a Flash Drive/Memory Stick 512MB or larger to class which will enable you to save your class work.
