Build, administer and develop a Drupal content management system (CMS) Web site in this hands-on course. Drupal is a widely used open source "community" supported content management framework which permits rapid development of Web content management systems (CMS), blogs, e-commerce sites, photo galleries and social media Web sites. It can be configured quickly to add new extensions and modules as the Web develops and changes. Learn how to install and configure Drupal, add content and users, manage site permissions and configure contact forms. Install and modify Drupal modules, themes, databases, blocks, and other assets. Manipulate and enhance performance, site search engine optimations (SEO), and manage site content and assets.
Prerequisites: HTML Advanced or equivalent experience. Java Script helpful, but not required.
Technology update: Please bring a Flash Drive/Memory Stick 512MB or larger to class which will enable you to save your class work.
