HTML5: Desktop and Mobile, Level I, ITI-133
Learn the basic building blocks of designing and creating Web sites optimized for modern computers, tablets, and mobile phones using HTML5 and CSS. Topics include basic HTML5 elements and attributes, including hyperlinks, images, and tables; techniques to effectively layout Web pages using newHTML5 structural elements; Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to format and control placement of HTML5 elements; use of media queries to handle a variety of devices, including screen, printer, and mobile phone; Web hosting fundamentals; and effective use of META tags.
Working with Windows or equivalent experience, familiarity with Internet, keyboarding skills.
Technology update: Please bring a Flash Drive/Memory Stick 512MB or larger to class which will enable you to save your class work.
Books may be purchased at the MC Bookstore or online. You will need to know the CMP#(Continuing Education classes) for the class you are taking in order to look up information about the textbook.
