PHP is an open-source programming language widely used to extend the capabilities of HTML documents and create dynamic Web applications. Upon successful completion of the course you will know how to create PHP script files, embed PHP scripts within HTML files, use HTML forms to collect data for PHP script, and locate free, open-source resources for PHP via the Web.

Technology update: Please bring a Flash Drive/Memory Stick 512MB or larger to class which will enable you to save your class work.

Classroom Hours: 15 Tuition waiver applies; seniors pay fee only.

Prerequisites: Programming Fundamentals and HTML5 Desktop & Mobile, or equivalent experience. JavaScript or equivalent experience also recommended.

Textbook: Please bring your textbook to the first class session. See MC Bookstores for more information on your textbook, bring to first class along with a USB Flash Drive/memory stick (at least 512 MB).
