Introduction to Web Design Principles, CMP911
Information rich, visually attractive Web sites are the focus of this course that examines effective web design principles. Best practices and case studies will feature successful Web sites. Topics include storyboarding, color theory, image and text placement, cross-platform design techniques, user-centered interfaces, accessibility and usability issues, as well as common mistakes to avoid.
Prerequisites: Computer Basics with Windows 98 or equivalent experience.
Technology update: Please bring a Flash Drive/Memory Stick 512MB or larger to class which will enable you to save your class work.
