The latest edition of the Locker Room looks at a year of excellence for Montgomery College athletics. This edition starts with the success of the spring sports teams: The Germantown baseball team; the Golf team; the Track team; the Cheerleading team. And this edition also takes a look back at some of the most popular stories from the past year and offers another look at the MC teams from the past year that won Regional titles and made national championship appearances. This edition also updates all the post season honors earned by each team, and also for the athletes and coaches.

Montgomery College Television’s Campus Conversations has been chosen to receive the nationally recognized Bronze Telly award.

The Telly Awards competition honors outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and online film and video. The annual Telly Awards showcases the work of respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, interactive agencies, and corporate video departments. They annually receive over 13,000 entries annually from all 50 states and countries around the world.

"Campus Conversations" is a 30-minute series that explores a variety of issues, events, and topics of interest to the Montgomery College and Montgomery County community.  In the awarded episode, career coach Malcolm Munro shared tips about job searches, cover letters, resumes and interviews; Montgomery College’s Eric Myren discussed the assistance provided to Montgomery College students and alumni through the MC Student Employment Services offices; and Chevy Chase Bank Vice President of Retail Employment Heidi Motz shared her experience working with students hired through Montgomery College programs.

The series is hosted by Rockville campus speech professor, Fritzi Bodenheimer and Media Relations Specialist, Marcus Rosano.  Campus Conversations is produced by MCTV Producer/Director Francine Wyron with, of course, the assistance of MCTV staff and student crew members.  Production began in 2004; 12-16 episodes are produced per year; and to date, 59 episodes have been completed.

"State of the Arts" is a Montgomery College Television series which highlights the arts and artists, as well as giving information about Arts programs at Montgomery College.

This episode explores Montgomery College as a resource in this difficult economy.
