Welcome to MC Course Reserves & E-Reserves
Definition and Purpose Of Course Reserves and E-Reserves:
Course Reserves, including Electronic Reserves, are required readings and/or
supplementary materials chosen by the faculty in support of classroom instruction.
They may include journal articles, book chapters, past exams, videos, and
occasionally extra copies of textbooks. Hard copy materials are maintained at the
Circulation Desk of each campus library for courses taught at that campus.
Electronic Reserves can accommodate multiple item formats such as Word documents,
Excel spreadsheets, Power Point presentations, URLs to Web pages or articles in our databases.
These items can be accessed through any web browser and Internet connection with
minimum requirements. Distance Learning Course Reserves may be maintained at only one or several
campuses. The purpose of placing items on Reserve is to allow
the maximum number of students access to these limited supplementary materials.
