Basic Search: Step 2

The basic search has ways to define or limit your search and results.  These options are located below the search box.

Database:
 Select multiple databases

Leaving the default Multiple databases in the database drop down menu searches all newspapers. Using the drop down menu allows you to select other available databases.

Date range:

Using the drop down menu allows you to select the date range you want to search.

Limit results to:
Full text documents only

Checking the box next to Full text documents only will retrieve only articles that have the full text.  If you leave that box blank, your search may return citations of articles that do not include the entire text.  In that case, it is possible you will be able to make a photocopy of the article from the Libraries' print or microfilm collection.
