a Search: Step 1
Because National Newspapers is such a large database, with tens of thousands of records, you are much
more likely to find too many articles rather than too
few. You are more likely to need to narrow your search rather than broaden it.
For that reason, this section of the tutorial on broadening a search will only
summarize a few strategies that you can use to get more results.
To broaden a search, add additional terms and combine them with
"OR." Think of other words that express the concept for
which you are searching. Cell phones could also be called wireless phones or mobile
phones. A trick to remember is the phrase "OR means mORe."
