When you write research papers for your classes, you will be asked to cite the articles you use.  The purpose is so that the reader can locate the information from your research..  It is a vital part of your academic work.  Below is an example of the parts of the citation you will see in the list of articles from Health Source: Nursing/Academic and what each part represents.
