                      Borrowing Policies

Circulating materials can be borrowed for three weeks.

Montgomery College students must present their photo ID card with

a current validation sticker or a current class schedule to be able to

     check out materials.

The loan period is three weeks for circulating items.  Non-print items

can be borrowed for one to two weeks..

Items can be renewed for additional periods provided no requests

have been made for the item.  Renewals can be done at the

circulation desk or online from the patron record on MC Library Catalog

"See page 23 tutorial page for further information."

Borrowed items can be returned to any campus library at the

circulation desks or in the book drops.

Borrowers will be charged 25 cents per day for overdue books.

●    Items can be borrowed and sent between libraries.  If you are at

Takoma Park and need a book at Germantown, print out the

MC Library Catalog  record, give it to circulation, and they will request the

book for you.  Keep in mind that it takes three working days for the

item to be transferred between libraries.
