                     Newspaper Articles: Step 2

 

There are also certain rules which must be followed in your reference list for newspaper articles.

 

●  When citing the date, list year, month, day ( 2003, June 24).

●  If you use an article retrieved from an electronic database, you need to add the date you retrieved the information and the URL of 

    the newspaper home page.

●  For discontinuous pages, include all page numbers and separate the pages with a comma (pp. A1, A15, A5-A7).

●  For one page use p. only  (p. A1).
