                               Web Sites

Web sites also have certain rules to follow for APA citations.  Information provided for citation purposes will depend on the web site you are using.  Following are some basic rules to remember:

●  If there is no author given for a web page, start with the title of the piece.

●  List your date of access because web pages are often updated and

information available on one date may no longer be available later.

●  Include the complete URL address for the site.

●  Always print out Web sources so that you will have a record for your entry on the

reference list.
