What is it? Why use it?
WHAT IS IT?
Expanded Academic ASAP is an electronic
PERIODICALS
DATABASE which contains
ARTICLES from many
MAGAZINES
and JOURNALS.
Montgomery College Libraries subscribe to a number of electronic
periodical databases. However, Expanded Academic ASAP is
especially useful because it covers so many different subject areas. You
type in your topic, and it will provide a list of articles which fit your
needs. Some of the articles you locate will be available
FULL TEXT.
WHY USE IT?
Usually, you
will use Expanded Academic ASAP when you are doing research for a
paper. Before you start, you need to think about whether a periodical
index is the best place to begin your research.
