What is a Citation?: Step 2

Within your paper you will use in-text citation for the information you include from outside sources.  The in-text citation is a cross-reference to a works cited page, which will include full citation information allowing the readers to locate the sources easily. Think of it as linking your information within the text of the paper to a works cited page attached at the end of the paper.

There are certain rules that you need to be familiar with to cite these sources correctly in your text.
