                               Conclusion

In this tutorial, we have briefly covered the very basics on how to use MLA citation rules for various information formats. If you are not sure how to cite a particular information format, use the MLA Handbook or ask the Reference Librarian.

Remember:

●  Follow the correct MLA in-text style which will be a link to the full citation

information on the works cited list.

●  You must be aware of the format of the source you are using in your paper.

●  Follow the correct MLA citation style for the particular information source you

    are using.

●  Alphabetize works on the works cited page by first word of the citation.

●  The first line of the citation is flush left.

●  The lines following in the citation are indented 5 to 7 spaces for each new line.

●  Double space each line and between each new citation.

●  If you are not sure, use the MLA Handbook, Library online handouts, ask

the Reference Librarian, or visit the Writing and Reading Center.
