The Modern Language Association (MLA) publishes rules for citations both for in-text and works cited lists.  These rules are published in the MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers.  Copies of the publication is available in all three Montgomery College libraries.

The MLA also has a web page that provides further citation information.  The URL is http://www.mla.org.

The Montgomery College Libraries web page has handouts available online that give examples of how to cite a variety of source formats. From the Library web page, click on  Handouts for students under Research Help....
