TUTORIALS – Library Assignment: Due March 7, 2008

To access the tutorials assigned:

Go to the Library Web page by typing in the URL: www.montgomerycollege.edu/library.  Click on Course Related Pages found on right side of web page under Library Instruction.  Scroll down to Takoma Park and click on NU105: Nursing Perspectives I.  You will see the list of tutorials you need to complete.  Just click on the name of the tutorial and you will be able to begin the assignment.

Quiz Grades

Once you have accessed each tutorial listed above, read each page of the tutorial and follow the tutorial through by clicking on the blue arrows at the bottom of each page.  At the end of each tutorial, you need to complete the quiz for a grade.  The quiz will be submitted electronically by clicking the submit button at the bottom of the quiz page.  Please print out the quiz before submitting in case there are any questions about completing the assignment.  The Evaluating the World Wide Web and Plagiarism tutorials allow you to put your e-mail address so that you can receive a graded copy of the completed quiz.  If you want another chance to do this quiz again, please do not put in your e-mail address.  The librarian will grade each tutorial and then submit the grades to Prof. Lackey.  The following are the points assigned to each tutorial:

Question 1 = 2 points                             Question 1 = 2 points

Question 3 = 4 points                             Question 3 = 5 points

Question 4 = 3 points                             Question 4 = 5 points

Question 5 = 3 points                             Question 5 = 5 points

Question 6 = 3 points                             Question 6 = 5 points

Question 7 = 2 points                             Question 7 = 8 points

Question 8 = 3 points

Question 9 = 5 points

Question 10 = 5 points

Evaluating the World Wide Web = 20 points    Plagiarism = 20 points

All questions are worth 2 points for both tutorials.
