Page 9 of 20 Boolean Searching Boolean searching is used to search the online catalog in the Advance Search. In the Keyword Boolean search you will be using connectors to connect keywords. These connectors are AND, OR, and NOT.
Just click on the option you want from the drop-down box.
This connector will find all documents that contain both the keywords in the example..
This connector will find either keyword in any document. The record in the online catalog may contain one or both of the keywords.
The connector will find documents in the online catalog that contain only the keyword medication but does not contain handbook.
