Call numbers are located in the call number field on the record and on the materials themselves. For example, you would find the call number for the book on the spine of the book. If the call number is::

Call Number: RM 170 .G33 2003

you must first go the RM section in the shelves. The collection is arranged alphabetically starting with A. Once you are in the RM section you will look numerically for 170. There maybe many books with 170 on the spine label. To narrow the search specifically for this book, you then look for .G33. You should then be at the exact location of the book.
