The College will be
converting to a new College ID number effective April 2nd
.
All College ID Numbers will be 9 characters beginning with an M.
All students, faculty and staff will need to
get a new photo ID.
For full details and for what you need to know, please go to the
College
ID Project
web site.
The new ID
numbers will replace social security numbers
or college-assigned ID numbers and will be the primary way you are
identified at the College.
You will need the new ID cards for library services.
For Library users,
this will affect how you login to our services:
- As of April 1st, students, faculty and
staff will need the new
college ID number
in order to login to My Account
in the
MC Library
Catalog to renew books and other items or to see what
is currently checked out. Community patrons will use the barcode numbers
found on the library card to check My Account information.
(Please note, also, that the MC Library Catalog will be down all day
March 31st
as part of the conversion process.)
- As of April 2nd, students, faculty and
staff will need the new
college ID number
in order to remotely login to the Library's electronic
databases or other electronic resources.
Alumni, retirees and community patrons may use the databases in the library.
On or after March 31st, you will be able to
find your new college ID number through My MC.
Please follow these steps:
- Login to My MC.
- Click the My Personal Information
link under the Student Quick Links
or other Quick Links options for faculty and staff.
- Click the View MyMC ID
link.
- MyMC ID and new College ID will be
displayed.
