consider your request.

Criteria that the library will consider when evaluating requests are:

Support to the curriculum--- degree to which course or program is supported by proposed title.
Reviews of periodicals--- to evaluate the quality and level of information available.
Indexing--- the periodical should be indexed or abstracted by an index owned by the library.
Price/value--- cost of subscription relative to the value of/need for title.
Balance--- providing a balance to our existing collection.
Internet access--- availability of the subscription on the World Wide Web.
Length of use of the proposed title--- how long the title will be used. Will it be used for 1 semester, two semesters, one year, or longer?
Nature of use of the proposed title--- will the title be used by a majority of the student and faculty population, or will it be used by only a selected small group of individuals.

ESSENTIAL for student research and instruction and/or faculty for class preparation. Student and faculty will consult this title regularly. May fill individual research needs of a specialized nature or provide supplementary information of a more general nature. May also fulfill general reading interests of students.
