MC Wind Ensemble/Community Band to Perform March 4 Concert

              On Thursday, March 4, at 8 p.m., Montgomery College’s Music Department will present a concert by the MC Wind Ensemble/Community Band, conducted by Dr. Paul Noble. The concert will be held in the Robert E. Parilla Performing Arts Center on the Rockville Campus.  Admission is free and open to the public.

                  The band will perform a potpourri of selections, from Vivaldi’s “Concerto for Two Trumpets” to a Marvin Hamlisch Showcase.  The concert will feature the premiere performance of “A Spiritual Heritage” composed by the conductor.  To close out the concert, a smaller group from within the band, the Dixieland Express, will perform a variety of blues selections.
